The Awakening
With the pandemic forcing businesses to shut down, and families to accept community services assistance, Women Awaken will do everything we can to fulfill our vision. We will partner with organizations and businesses that can retrain the workforce. We acknowledge that the safest and most efficient way to work in many cases is virtual – at home. Whether those in need of retraining are women or men, the time to rise up and make a difference for them is now.
Goal – through this annual, fun, and enlightening web conference, women will create new personal and business networks, adopt new attitudes. Women will return to their lives and places of business encouraged, enlivened, and emboldened to positively impact their families, communities, and ultimately the world.

Join The Awakening
- Develop a sense of camaraderie through team building without hierarchy
- Teach women to communicate with love and respect, clarity and determination
- Help to develop resources and relationships that can benefit women long after the conference is over
- Offer dynamic workshops and presentations that can help women live fully as women in business, students, mothers, and community leaders.
- Entertain women with beautiful performances that make their hearts sing.
- Acknowledge our basic spiritual natures by creating an atmosphere of holiness (without religious doctrines)
- Help women to see their own unique talents and how they can put them to use for global and local change.

Our Mission
Women Awaken exists to unceasingly offer solutions for helping all who are disadvantaged. We will do this by creating a community of like-minded people, offering educational tools wherever appropriate, coaching and support. During this Covid-19 pandemic and beyond, we will train people on how to qualify for virtual work.
The Movement
Women Awaken was founded by Ann-Marie Scherrer in 1997 and exists to connect with and help women, families, and communities:

More Information
Our History
We have:
- Supported and raised funds for Amy’s House (a residential facility for teen girls who were rescued from sex trafficking- now closed).
- Led volunteers from churches and sewing circles to make quilts for the girl’s beds.
- Gave multiple informational presentations across Colorado,
- Facilitated a golf tournament fundraiser and a telethon for the facility.
- Partnered with a small village in Uganda.
- Worked to help the village women create revenue for themselves and their families. These village women raised the money, with the help of international organizations, to build a reproductivity center, the Suubi Center. Through community donations, Women Awaken purchased and sent boxes of ‘Clean Birthing Kits’

Our Team
Our founder, Anne-Marie Scherrer has been growing Women Awaken for Families and Communities since 1997. Anne-Marie’s commitment to heart-led service is her passion. The team at Women Awaken is hand-picked for their commitment to heart-led service and internalizing a statement from Mother Theresa who said; “Holiness is not the luxury of the few; it is a simply duty, for you and for me…..”

Awakening Families & Communities
The old model of getting a job at a brick and mortar office is being phased out.
This began long before the pandemic arrived in the world.
We in the United States have an opportunity to lead the world in innovation and flexibility.
We are strategically developing training for our citizens to join the Virtual Work Force. Over time, we will all prosper again from our hard work and perseverance.
